Protesters Greet Pres. Obama in Arden

The reception for President Obama Wednesday wasn't entirely welcoming.  A few dozen protesters lined Hendersonville Rd. near the Linamar main entrance in Arden with signs and banners in tow.

The groups represented diverse cause like anti-gay, anti-abortion, pro-guns, and pro-1st Amendment.  Jane Bilello of the Asheville Tea Party was one of them.  "The economy is mess and gun-free zones don't work," said Bilello.

As it turns out President Obama never saw the protesters because he slipped onto Linamar grounds through a back entrance on Long Shoals Road. Nevertheless, protesters said it was still worth it.
