Fight Club Uncovered At High School
Several Swain County High School students are suspended after a video surfaces of a fight club. The cell phone video shows ninth graders, some in boxing gloves and some using bare fists, duking it out in the gym locker room.
The principal found out about the violence after the video went viral at the school. One student says the fights went on for a month while a teacher looked the other way.
In a statement, school leaders deny any teacher was aware of a so-called fight club.
The students were suspended for 10 days.
