Quiet on the Set!

The lights, cameras, and action are back in Asheville! A star-studded movie production is stopping traffic and turning heads around town.

This is the second day of shooting for Untitled Armored Car Project, the new motion picture starring actors Zack Galifianakis, Kristin Wiig and Owen Wilson.

The "Untitled Armored Car Project" will be shot on College Street between Broadway and Haywood, and along Lexington Ave. between Walnut and Patton Ave.

These street closures do not happen all at once, but you should try to avoid the listed below during the specified times.

College Street between Broadway and Haywood will be closed between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday. Lexington Avenue between Walnut Street and Patton Avenue will also be shut down much of the day.

Tuesday, July 29th:
6 a.m.-10 a.m. Broadway/Biltmore Avenue from College to Eagle streets; Patton Avenue to Market Street and Pack Square.

9 a.m.-1 p.m. plaza in front of Buncombe County Courthouse.

5-9 p.m. College Street from Broadway to Lexington, as well as intermittent traffic control on Patton Avenue from Lexington to Biltmore avenues.

Filming will continue Wednesday near Pack Square from Broadway to Market Street.

Wednesday, July 30th:
6 a.m. - 1 p.m. Pack Square from Biltmore Avenue to Market Street.

The movie is set for release in theaters in August of 2015.
