Tammy Takes Ice Bucket Challenge
Today is a good day to participate in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Our own Tammy Watford was challenged Thursday night, by Former Governor Mike Easley.
Tammy contributed $50 to the cause, and encourages others to donate. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as "Lou Gehrig's Disease," is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord.
After Tammy was challenged Thursday, we asked our Facebook fans who you would challenge next. Darcel got the most votes, but Jason volunteered to take one for the team because he got the second most voters. So Jason, you've now been called out to take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
