Whole Foods Mobile Kitchen
Whole Foods is giving customers an early taste of its new store.
Their mobile kitchen rolled into town Monday, to kick off the kitchen's first day of operations. For the next week, team members will be preparing and serving food outside their new location on Tunnel Road. There will be a rotating menu of to-go options available.
All of Monday's sales benefit Brother Wolf Animal Rescue. Whole Foods says supporting the local community is important to the company. "When you come into the store you'll see a lot of local items. I can't even speak to how many we have because we're still bring so many of them in. But we definitely keep our ties close to the community with every store we open," says Store Team Leader, Tony Sgro.
Shoppers have the opportunity to tour the new store this Friday and Saturday. Click here to reserve a spot on the tour. The store's grand opening is next Tuesday, August 26th at 9 a.m.
