Stunt Driver Comes to Asheville
A local church is throwing a party for students Friday night that might get your wheels spinning.
Stunt driver James Smith will be doing a live car jump for North Asheville Baptist Church's 5th Quarter bash, but he gave News 13 a sneak peak on Thursday.
Smith specializes in performing car stunts for film, television, commercials and live audiences. Student pastor John Richards says he hopes Smith's stunts can teach students about having fun and faith.
"We love our community," Smith said. "We love the students in our community and we want them to know that God has a path for their life and it's not a boring path and that we can have a lot of fun serving our God."
The 5th Quarter bash will begin after the North Buncombe vs. Madison football game in the field at the end of Griffee Road.
