Big Love Fest in Asheville
A celebration of independent businesses and community organizations drew big crowds in Pack Square on Sunday.
The Big Love Fest featured more than 150 merchants coming out to share in the fun. Bands entertained the crowd on two stages, as folks enjoyed food and beer served by area restaurants and breweries.
"I mean there's food, there's the sun, there's a lot of people, friends, music, lots of things for the kids and it's all local! It's fantastic," says Emily Jones of Asheville.
This year's festival teamed up with the Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy to help support wildlife habitats, farmland and water quality.
