New Details In Triple Homicide Investigation
The search for clues continues in Henderson County into why a man shot and killed his estranged wife and her parents in cold blood. Police say Ralph Robert Warren III shot them at a home on Piney Ridge Drive, then took his own life as deputies closed in on him.
The sheriff of Henderson County believes a long running marital feud led to Wednesday's triple homicide in the Mountain Home community.
The victims have been identified as Carrie Warren and her parents, Theresa and Richard Tracy. At least one of Carrie's two young children witnessed the entire killing spree. They have now been taken into protective custody DSS.
The sheriff says Warren used a legally obtained, high-powered AR-15 assault rifle to spray the victims with bullets.
Deputies searched the home of Warren's mother Thursday. She lives near where Warren was found dead from a self inflicted gunshot wound.
Warren was recently booked for communicating threats and harassment, but the sheriff says there was no indication this type of violence was imminent.
