Speedway Superstar Contest
Racing fans warm up their voices hoping to sing the national anthem at a Nascar race. The Speedway Superstar Contest stopped in Greenville Thursday as part of its 12-city tour. Singers audition for the chance to sing the Star-Spangled Banner or God Bless America at the History 300 in Charlotte on May 25th. Contestants said the experience wasn't as scary as they thought. Fans can vote online for their favorite singer. Next stop for the contest is Columbia.
