Dairy Delivery Memories
Some unusual truck owners are milking nostalgia for all its worth this week. This 1931 model is among the rare trucks in town. The Detroit Industrial Vehicles Company stopped production in the 1980's.
Enthusiasts love the reactions they get from driving these relics of the past.
"Oh thumbs up , people yelling... The whole deal... It's neat. A lot of people remember them, a lot of people have no idea what they are. Especially one like this one," said DIVCO Club vice president Bill Walski.
The DIVCO Club Convention will include a couple dozen milk trucks. They'll be among the vehicles on display at a classic car show in Hendersonville Saturday on Main Street.
