Parking Fees Dropped
The controversial parking fees at the Grove Park Inn have been dropped.
The $10 fee was put into place during the Gingerbread House Competition back in November. The owners then say it was about creating a less chaotic experience for residents and guests.
But in June, KSL Capital Partners sold the Grove Park Inn to Omni. Less than a month later, the hotel announced it is removing the fees and inviting guests to park in the outdoor lots free of charge.
There will still be a few areas where visitors will have to pay to park. Hotel officials say they will be charged to valet and if they park in one of the two parking garages.
