Missing Greenville Woman

39-year-old Misty Johnson has been missing since the early hours of Thursday morning. Police say Johnson was last seen at Junior's Sports Bar on Gladys Drive, a popular hangout for service industry people, at around 3am early Thursday morning. Over the weekend, police found her car within city limits, but could not release exactly where.

"We try to keep everything sensitive so it doesn't compromise the investigation later on," said Ofc. Johnathan Bragg of the Greenville Police Department.

Neighbors and friends are distraught. Drew Mathews lives two doors down from Johnson, and also works in the service industry. He says mutual friends have been concerned about Johnson.

"Friends I've worked with in the past said they've worked with her, and they love her. And if I hear anything let them know because they really care about her," says Mathews.

Bartenders at Junior's tell News 13 that Johnson came in late Wednesday night/Thursday morning, had two Bud Lights, and left in a hurry around 3am.

Greenville Police are still investigating and continue to follow leads. Anyone with information on Johnson's whereabouts should call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
