Yancey County Murder
Yancey County Sheriff's investigators search for a killer, someone who gunned down a disabled veteran in his own home.
The body of 69-year-old James Anglin was found Sunday night, by a friend who had stopped by to check on him. She called 911 when she saw him through a window, lying on the floor.
Investigators say he was already dead when deputies arrived.
Yancey County Sheriff Gary Banks tells News 13 Anglin likely knew the person who killed him.
As of Monday night, detectives were interviewing family, friends and neighbors, trying to determine who was the last person to see the victim alive.
If you have any information in the case call the sheriff's office at 828-682-2124.
