Threat Cancels Homecoming Pep Rally
A rumor about a school shooting forced administrators at AC Reynolds High School to cancel the homecoming pep rally on Friday.
Principal Doris Sellers says the threat was just a rumor but the rally was cancelled as a precautionary measure.
Sellers says she didn't want the students to go without a pep rally so students and staff got creative Friday afternoon.
The taped the band, choir, cheerleaders, football players, and homecoming court.
The edited the tape together and created a homecoming video that aired on school TV Friday afternoon.
The students say it was a good way to make the best of a disappointing situation.
