St. Baldrick's Fundraiser
Asheville firefighters sported new hair styles and showed-off their moves for a very important cause this weekend.
They hit the dance-floor at Wild Wing Cafe to support the St. Baldrick's Foundation. The group raises money for children's cancer research.
Dozens of people had their heads shaved for donations. The youngest was eight-year-old, Bryson, helped-out by his classmates at Emmanuel Lutheran Christian School. Bryson's firefighter-dad is proud.
Carl Caughorn, Asheville firefighter, "he hung tough, his hair was getting long hanging down on his ears. He told me just last week, dad I'm ready for a haircut."
Saturday's St. Baldrick's event raised just over $10,000 and counting.
