New Home for 100 Year-Old Grotto

A 100 year-old rock structure in Asheville has found a new home.

The St. Genevieve Grotto was recently moved, stone by stone, from the campus of A.B. Tech to Carolina Day School. The A.B. Tech property was once home to St. Genevieve of the Pines, a girl's school that eventually became part of Carolina Day.

The grotto is used for student meditation and reflection. A dedication ceremony for the structure will be held tomorrow morning.
