Bond Referendum On Ballot
Voters across North Carolina go to the polls Tuesday for municipal elections.
One of the issues Hendersonville voters will decide is whether they want to pay higher property taxes for improvements to Berkley Park.
The bonds would raise $6 million for better parking, access to the baseball field and a destination playground.
There would also be a memorial tree park and additions to the greenway and trail system.
If the Bond Referendum Passes, it would mean a 3-percent property tax increase.
