Students Help Salvation Army With Boxes

Local students get a hands-on lesson in giving.

Sixth graders at A.C. Reynolds Middle School put together about 1,000 boxes Thursday morning for the Salvation Army.

It's part of a community service project. The boxes will be delivered to the Salvation Army where they'll be filled with food and toys for area families.

About 100 children from A.C. Reynolds put together the boxes.

It's the fifth year the school has participated in the project.
