Catawba Brewing's New Construction Plans
Catawba Brewing has announced new construction plans for its Asheville brewery. As we've reported, the Morganton-based brewery originally planned to renovate an existing building at the old Patterson Oil site on Fairview Road.
The City of Asheville decided against it, so now the plan is to tear down the building and build a new two story brewery and tasting room. Because the construction will take longer, Catawba will set up a temporary tasting room on Brook Street.
The two story brewery is expected to be open by mid-summer. The temporary tasting room on Brook Street is scheduled to be open in early February.
