Savoring the sun, that's how many people in the mountains spent their day. Enjoying this warm winter weather, as the threat of single digits loom.
The difference between today's high temperature and tomorrow's is significant. So today people took time to soak up the sun.
It's nothing new to see runners sporting shorts doing laps around Beaver Lake or joggers through downtown in tank tops. No spring hasn't come eary, it's one of those rare warm winter days.
Lauren, Laura and Sammy know the looming forecast, "we were talking about living in the moment and this is one of these times."
A layer of ice on the lake isn't stopping Andy Glatstein from rowing since the temperature is warming to the 50's, "its the last good day for the rest of the week its' going to be cold and windy."
And the possibility of significant snow!
You heard right, a high in the 30's with lows in the single digits and the possibility of snow.
The temperature have already started to drop today, and that's prompted DOT officials to prepare for the bad weather by putting salt down on major roads.
