Clyde Students Rewarded With Tubing
It was a pretty slick day for Clyde Elementary School students. 170 2nd through 5th graders hit runs at Tony's Tube World in Maggie Valley.
Their principal says they earned the fun day with good behavior.
"The kids that perform in the classroom and does not check out or have too many tardies or negative office trips get to come to earn incentive trips. Here we go," said Clint Conner.
Principal Conner says there's an incentive trip every nine weeks. Today had an added bonus. Haywood County Schools had a three hour delay this morning. So these kids went to school, had lunch, then hit the slopes.
