Bus Station Shooting Plea
An Buncombe County man will serve 27-years after pleading guilty to shooting his girlfriend in the head in November of 2012.
Prosecutors say Patrick Holliday shot Regina Robinson in the head on a greyhound bus in Asheville. She survived but lost an eye and still has a bullet in her skull.
The couple has four children together and a history of domestic violence.
Authorities say Holliday also fired a shot at a taxi cab driver and pointed a gun at a police officer.
In a Buncombe County Courtroom Friday afternoon, Holliday pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted 1st degree murder and several other felonies.
