Unsolved Murder Victims Mother Found Dead
Linda Casey, mother of murder victim Charity Worley, is found dead in a South Carolina motel room.

Authorities say, it appears Linda Casey may have taken her own life. Newberry police say they are waiting on the results of an autopsy.
Family members say the murder of her daughter was a horrible burden for her.
"I think she just got tired, got tired, felt like she had to do something."
Linda Casey's uncle says his neice spent the last five years of her life working to find out who killed her daughter, Charity Worley.
Steve Powell, uncle, "the last four years has been very frustrating for her, since her daughter's death. With the investigation seemingly going nowhere, and not knowing what happened, and why, and she also suffered a lot of physical pain."
Linda Casey was also known as Linda Suddeth. She spoke to us at News 13 as the investigation turned from months into years. 28-year-old Charity Worley was found brutally beaten in her driveway in the Barker Heights area of Hendersonville in December of 2008.
Now, the family faces another tragedy and another investigation about what happened to Casey. Newberry police say she checked into a motel wednesday, her body was later found by a cleaning crew. Officers found her dead of an apparent suicide. They say they found correspondence from her family but did not find a suicide note.
Sheriff David Mahoney "the family members had noticed that Ms. Casey had left and not returned, and were concerned about her whereabouts."
Transylvania County Sheriff David Mahoney says on Wednesday morning, deputies had just begun the investigation into Casey's disappearance.
Sheriff Mahoney, "we had officers at her residence taking a report, or at least taking the information regarding her whereabouts, at the same time that the officials in newberry, South Carolina were notifying us that they had found her."
Her son Chris Simpson has posted a message on Suddeth's Facebook page. It reads, quote, "I am Linda's son and it saddens my heart to share with you that my mother passed away today. I know with all my heart she is at peace with her loving daughter Charity, by her side."
Henderson County deputies say they have reviewed the correspondence found with Suddeth and they say they didn't immediately find anything that would give closure to the Charity Worley investigation.
They say that investigation is still on-going.
